Our AquAid water cooler not only benefits our employees, but also gives us the opportunity to help others – slightly further afield. That’s because with each purchase an automatic donation is made to Africa Trust to build ‘Elephant Pumps’. They’re a modified version of an age old Chinese rope pulley system. And we’re pleased to say that the L&C water pump is currently being installed in Africa on our behalf.
When completed, our L&C logo will proudly appear on a water pump that will provide fresh drinking water for many villagers. To date, AquAid have built over 5,000 Elephant Pumps across parts of Zimbabwe, Malawi and Liberia; and have donated in excess of £10 million to charity.
